The 64 hexagrams are numbered in the order in which they appear in the Book of Changes (I Ching).

basic knowledge
● There are 64 hexagrams, which are made by stacking six of the two types of yang (―) and yin (--).
● The yang (―) or yin (--) lines in the hexagram are called "base, 2, 3, 4, 5, top" in order from the bottom.
● A single hexagram is made up of an upper three-line group and a lower three-line group.
● There are eight types of clusters of three lines, depending on how the yin and yang are layered: heaven, lake, fire, thunder, wind, water, mountain, and ground.
The upper three lines in this figure are yin, yang, and yang for 'lake', and the lower three are yang, yin, and yang for 'fire', so it is called 'lake fire 沢火革'.(Refer to the "64 hexagram chart" above.)
